Screening for Injury Prevention...

We routinely work with sports people of all levels to screen for body limitations. This has 2 impacts:
- injury prevention, identify the areas at risk of overload early and ensure the strains of your sports can be safely met day in and day out
- performance enhancement, inconsistency and lack of power usually come down to your body not being able to perform the ideal movement. We work on removing those areas of restricted movement / weakness so that you can perform like a pro.

Acute Injuries

Ultrasound has been in and out of fasion over the past 20 years. However, it has now been proven to be highly effective on acute injuries but only if you do it a minimum of twice a week. In an ideal world we'd have it 5 times per week, for 2 weeks like the sports people we look up to.
So we decided to make it as accessible to everyone as possible. If your physio recomends it, you'll pay a flat fee of £100 whether you use it 4x in a fortnight or 10x like a pro. These sessions are carried out by a physio assistant in addition to your physiotherapy treatment.

In the last year we have worked with people from: Rugby, Cycling, Tennis, Climbing, Dance, Football, Golf, Hockey, Martial Arts, Netball, and Swimming. We can produce screening protocols for your sport or team, just let us know your sport when you book the appointment.
