There are two main elements we suggest when you begin running. One is a good guide for increasing your distances in a safe way (see below). The other is a screening to help you maximise your efforts and reduce the risk of injury.
Whenever you go through a change in your activity levels we recommend having a screening by one of our professionals. This helps us identify body limitations which can cause under performance and increase the likelihood of injury. We provide you with advice on your training and a bespoke program to ensure you are competing maximally and safely.
We have included a full version of the NHS's Couch to 5K program along with some additional general strength and conditioning that can reduce your chance of injury.
